The Three Great Judgements of the New Testament
There are many people, Christians included, who have no clear idea about the various ‘judgements' contained in our Bible's New Testament which it is important we do not confuse. Many people have muddled minds about ‘judgement' and think only of the final Judgement which takes place at the end of human history and which applies only to the unregenerate dead and God's consigning them to their proper level of eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire. However, there are other important judgements besides this, and our present study draws attention to these divine judgements which will affect the three fundamental divisions within human society. These are the three groupings distinguished in 1 Corinthians 10:32 as Jews, Gentiles, and church of God.

Why has Jesus not returned yet?
1. Because the time appointed by God has not yet arrived. It was similarly a question of time asked by the disciples in Acts 1:7 ref the inauguration of the promised Kingdom. They got it right regarding the fact of the Kingdom, such a hope was and is justified. The Lord simply told them they could not know when His kingdom would come. The date had been fixed by the Father's sole authority, but He had not chosen to reveal it. It was information that belonged exclusively to Himself.
